So, the Optima DriveAutoX 2020 season had three points events, their first time running a points series. The year end points winner in each class nabbed an invite to UMI’s King of the Mountain invitational event.
We got it. The outright win at the first event, and two solid performances at Trader’s World and this past weekend in Bowling Green clinched the National Championship in the SCN class for the Probe! And we got that Golden Ticket to UMI’s party.
So, a great start to what’s going to be a whirlwind August. Next week is Optima’s Ultimate Street Car even at Road America, then UMI’s KOTM the following week, then a break, and a possible appearance at the last DriveAutoX event in Peru, Indiana. Stay tuned!
